LIVING WITH A THANKFUL HEART THIS YEAR....

This year I choose JOY..
I choose to be thankful for every good and wonderful gift....
I choose to make these verses my life verses this year.

⁴ Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! ⁵ Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. ⁶ Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. ⁷ And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
⁸ Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. ⁹ Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.    Philippians 4: 4-9

So in keeping with the choices I have made to not worry but to be thankful for every good and wonderful gift around me this year...

I arrived at work yesterday and parked my car in front of these beautiful flowers.  Even though I was running a little late,  it was still worth getting my phone out and recording this amazing plant.

So thankful for the gift of sight...
So thankful that I can see such beauty.

Thankful for colour....

This morning I went for my walk...
I had to walk up to the hospital to put in some forms for my husband...
It was such a beautiful day..
The sky was vibrant blue,  the trees and grass were the richest green.. I felt so thankful for the gift of colour in the world and that I had eyes that could see and appreciate all this beauty...

I wonder what I will be thankful for tomorrow?????
