A MORNING AT WYNNUM

On my last day in Brissie, we decided to pack a picnic lunch and head to Wynnum for a play and walk along the waterfront....
I don't think I have been here before but what a great place to go and take kids.....
Sarah's friend Jemma and her little girl Audrey and her little boy Patrick joined us.  We took scooters and bikes for the kids and have morning tea under the shade a a lovely big tree near the children's playground.

After morning tea we headed to the playground.  What an amazing place...  a dream place for children to play...

Enjoying a see saw with Audrey

Very nautical playground...

It is such an amazing area that I couldn't help but walk around and take some photos of it.  It is a great place to come and spend a few hours... It has such a beachy feel to the place and there is always a lovely sea breeze...

A great water play area...

Great climbing nets
Willow ready to go climb.... needs a bit of Mummy help

Some awesome play equipment in the playgroup... Just look at this one... Some many things to do on it...
Oh to be a child again..
Amazing climbing frames
Wish we had more time here so I could have walked out along the pier.  This area kind of reminds me a little of the Redcliffe beach front...

Lots of lovely walk ways and swimming areas for adults also.  it is very family orientated.

Lovely picnic before we head home...
Our little chicken is starting to feel unwell...

It was a lovely end to the holidays with the girls...
Definitely a place we should visit more often when we are down in Brisbane...
