A FAMILY OUTING TO THE BEACH....

Yesterday afternoon we all went for a drive to the beach.... Neither, Sarah or Danielle had seen the memorial walk down at Emu Park, so that was our first port of call.  Steve, Chloe and Sarah were keen to do some skateboarding,

The weather wasn't the best,  it was a beautiful sunny day, but very windy and quite cold. but we still had a great time together...

Just missing Pete, Maria, Colin and Dan....
A windy family photo...

The girls bought their skateboards down, and Steve bought down his ripstick.  Still good to see he has it at his age.  They really do enjoy spending time together outdoors,  doing sporty things...
Even this little treasure was on a board...

It was a lovely afternoon...
From here we headed back into Emu Park to have a coffee, but unfortunately all the coffee shops in Emu Park were closed so we headed off to Yeppoon to have a coffee at the Coffee Club on the Esplanade.  Willow was very keen to have her Babychino, so Danielle and I took her for it whilst the others had a skate along the waterfront first...

It really was a lovely day....
I have enjoyed us heading to the beach most months this year..
There is something very soothing and calming about being down near the water....
I always come home feeling refreshed and alive after an afternoon down there....
