A WEEKEND CATCHING UP WITH SOME OF THE RLO'S

It has been over six years still the RLO's were made redundant...
For some of us, we haven't seen each other in all of that time so it was nice to organise a bit of a get together in Brisbane last weekend...

Only half of us could attend, but we had such a good time that we have decided to try and get together again next year, and give each of us more time to plan and try and contact the rest of the girls....

We stayed in the City at the Quest Apartments.  Very nice serviced two bedroom apartment.   We had a great time catching up and chatting on the Friday night...

Janet from Nambour joined us on Saturday morning.  She had just arrived back from their holiday in Western Australia.  

Karen from Emerald missed lunch on Saturday as she her son had to be admitted to hospital in Brisbane for surgery,  but we sure made up for it in the afternoon, when our old boss joined us for a few hours....

It was a wonderful weekend... Considering that we haven't seen each other in a long long time,  we connected as if it were only yesterday since we had last seen each other and spoken....

 We headed back to our apartment mid afternoon, and our old boss Suzanne joined us for a couple of hours.  It was so good to see her,  we had kind of lost touch with her for a while so it was nice to spend the time with her.   She is very keen to have a catch up with us in the future also, so hopefully we will plan another weekend together in May next year.

 This was definitely the best job I have ever had.  It was more to do with the people I worked with...
A wonderful bunch of woman.  It  never felt like work when we went to Toowoomba.  It was more like a family reunion...

Looking forward to catching up with everyone again real soon.  Hoping next time, we can get a few extra RLO's to join us.
