CONGRATULATIONS DAN...

What a wonderful week this is turning out to be....
Pete and Maria get engaged....
Pete arrives home this weekend...
And today we had the honor of seeing Chloe's boyfriend graduate from University with first class honors.

We are so proud of you Dan,  you have worked so hard to earn this degree and you have certainly done your parents proud as well as Chloe and us....  We felt very privileged that you wanted us to be there to celebrate this milestone and achievement in your live....

 There were over 270 Undergraduate students today receiving degrees... It was a long slow process and Dan was one of the last...

So proud of this young man...

 They served up a lovely afternoon tea after the graduation, and we were quite surprised at how good it was and how much food there was.   It just seemed to keep coming out and out and out and even at the end of the day there was still so much left over....
They must have fed well over 500 people...

We were hoping to get some family photos after the proceeding but Dan forgot and handed in his gown.... He did get to keep his mortar board hat, so at least we got some photos with it.  It was a little disappointing...

So very proud of you Dan.  No mean feat... Lots and lots of hard work but it has paid off.  Proud of you also Chloe for supporting Dan with his studies..

Chloe got in on the act also and tried it on.  I was happy enough to keep snapping them...

 A little bit of fun together.  This is one of the things I love about these guys.  They really have a lovely sense of humor and enjoy hanging out together.  They seem to bring out the best in each other...
