A BOAT RIDE WITH POPPY

Sarah found it hard this year...
She found it difficult to get out on her own too much as Max was still on 3-4 hourly feeds, which meant that she was unable to leave him for any length of time...

She did however manage to go out on the water with Steve on the last day we were there.
As Kathy and Willow had not got out either,  Steve decided to just take the girls for a run down to the Colosseum whilst I stayed back at the van and looked after Max....

This is the third year that Willow has been out in the boat with her Poppy but this year was the first year that she really enjoyed it and didn't need her Mum holding her every step of the way....
This year she even got to sit in the driver's seat with her Poppy...

Watching Poppy drive the boat....
Having a go.... Is this how it is done Poppy
Big girl moment as Willow takes over...
It was a gorgeous day and the girls loved their couple of hours on the water.

Such a beautiful part of the world,  so peaceful and so serene... and so isolated... We definately live in a magnificent country...

At the Colosseum

Then it was time to head back....
In this part of the wild the tide comes in fast and it goes out fast, so he needed to get the girls back so that he could go and collect his pots before the tide went out too far....
Heading home again...

Meanwhile,  I had a lovely relaxing morning with a beautiful baby boy.
Rare moments as usually Willow is around and happy for you to play with her...
I love that we are able to have these precious holidays with Dan and Chloe, and Sarah and the children.  Looking forward to Sarah's husband Colin joining us next year...
Just wish we could include Pete and Maria.   Maybe one day down the track.
