SEAFOOD AT THE BEACH..

Sarah's friends Anna and Barry joined us for a seafood feast on their last night at Tannum...
Most of our other campers had gone home, so there were only a few of us left.....
The crabbing and fishing was pretty poor this year in comparison to other years but we still managed to get a couple of crabs and a good couple of feeds of fish...

Once all the kids were in bed,  the adults had dinner...
It was a great night of good food, good company, relaxation,  plenty of laughs and was made of the stuff that holidays should be made of......

We felt for Barry and Anna,  we were all just starting to unwind and relax and for them it was time to pack up and head off home....

Had to stretch these around
They weren't going to go far as their were 8 of us,  but at least it gave us all a taste...
Steve cooked the fish and it was up to his usual state of excellence.   Just melted in your mount.  Think it was even nicer because it was freshly caught that day.
fresh fish fillets
a meal fit for a king..

The Morris family join us for dinner
At least these crabs were not water bags.
Steve enjoying one of the crab claws.  He is really in his element when it comes to eating crab...
I am sure it is his favourite all time meals....
Cracking the shell
Wow look at that meat
In his element

Enjoying his dinner

 It was a great night..
There was lots of laughter, and stories, and interestingly enough,  Barry and Ian both recognized each other and were sure they had met somewhere before...  They had spent a couple of days trying to work out where it might have been, and in the end it turned out both worked in Mental Health, in the same location, except, Ian worked with adults whilst Barry worked with children.  They had however attended PD days together and that is where they were familiar with each other....

It is indeed a small world.
