VISITING THE CHILDREN'S FAVOURITE SHOPS...
Willow had been looking forward to this day since the moment she knew she was coming to Rockhampton. It meant a visit to Moppy's favourite shop as she calls it....
She thinks my favourite shop is Toyworld and of course if you take them there you have to buy them a toy.
Max didn't fully understand our outing but was pulled along by Willow's excitement and was excited too.
We had decided to devote today to doing fun shopping with the children..
Of course our first port of call was Toyworld. Max didn't really understand what it was all about until he walked into the store and his eyes grew wide and he really didn't know where to look....
He is such a good kid and never asks for anything, rather unlike Willow who falls in love with everything and knows that we are bits of soft touches...
Once Max came across the train set there was no tearing him away. He wasn't interested in looking at anything else, he didn't even ask for anything, even when we asked him if he wanted specific toys he was not interested. All he wanted to do was play with the train set.
Poor kid was heartbroken when it was time to leave. He threw himself down on the floor and cried out "no Mummy no go". We LOVES Thomas the Train and we were keen to take him to KMart where we could buy one for him for almost half the cost, but all he wanted to do was play with the set up there.... So wished we could have bought one for him as I know he would spend hours and hours playing with it. He is always playing with his little wooden trains.
We finally got him away and headed to KMart where we had planned on getting him a couple of little trains to add too his collection. Willow wanted a little bunny and some clip on earrings which we found at Toyworld, so with our purchases secured, she was happy and he headed off....

We arrived at K-Mart and headed straight to pick up a train for Max. It was almost dinner time so once we had secured our purchases from K--Mart we headed around to the Food Court to order some lunch.

The kids enjoyed a wonderful play in the playground supervised by me whilst Sarah wandered off Child free to do some window shopping and sale shopping herself.... Bliss for a mother of little children.
After the kids had a rather long play in the playground we headed off to do a little bit of adult shopping. Sarah wanted to buy a backpack for herself for when they go on family outings. It is too much carting a backpack for each child.

It was a good day out and the kids were happy to come home and play with their new toys... An adult day planned for tomorrow for whe we go off to sew with a few of my friends.
