CATCHING UP WITH THESE DEAR FOLKS.

Whilst on the Sunshine Coast, we decided to take a drive up to Maleny to visit our very good friends Barb and John.  Barb and I have been very dear friends for over 30 years, and we have really got to know her husband since we part of the lap around Australia with them in 2017. 

It has been a while since we have seen them, so when Dad headed off to church early Sunday morning we decided to head up and visit them on our way to Brisbane.

John is quite renown for his amazing cooking, and of course we were spoilt by him once again with a lovely fresh batch of homemade hot scones. 

We had a lovely morning catching up sitting on their front patio.  It was perfect weather... and we had a lovely time with them...

 We left these guys around lunch time so as to try and miss the bulk of the traffic heading back into Brisbane.  As we got closer to the highway, we noticed it was starting to bank up so decided to do the inland route along the Steve Urwin Way back through to Caboolture.

I am so pleased we stopped in to see them, we always enjoy their company, and I feel so blessed to have these guys in our lives...
