DAY 3 - AND IAN AND KATHY JOIN US....

Another great day at the Bay.  Barb and I spent the morning out shopping whilst the boys visited caravan repair shops to pick up a few little parts to do some maintenance on the vans whilst we had some time with other demands creeping in...

First Barb and I headed to Spotlight.  We wanted to pick up some Australiana bunting to make similar to the bunting Barb bought down to hang between our vans...  Whilst we were in there we noticed that Spotlight was having a 30% sale on a lot of kitchen wares, so ended up getting some little bowls, a cheese board, and tongs and other bits and pieces for our van.  I also picked up a little bit of Christmas fabric to add to my every growing stash.... We definitely spent more money there than we intended.

From Spotlight we headed across to Coles as we had a list of groceries to get... We hadn't bought any since arriving and I wanted to grab a few things for dinner as I was cooking some pork ribs for everyone...  After getting our groceries, Barb and I headed to Coffee Club for a quick drink before heading back to join the boys for lunch...

The weather was great today,  sunny, warm with not too much wind, so Barb and I decided to head up to the pool for a dip after lunch....  The water was still pretty cool, so I was happy to lay on one of the lazy boys and get a bit of a tan ( well really to try and get a little hot) so that I could pluck up the courage to go for a dip..

Ian and Kathy arrived whilst we were up at the pool.  We saw them arrive and then Kathy came up and joined us once they had booked in and unpacked into their unit... Barb and I were going to have another dip, but by then, the pool area was filling up pretty quickly with other guests at the park and their children..
As it was getting a little noisy up there, we decided to head back to the van where we could chat a lot easier...
We all joined together for dinner, under our awning...  We had initially intended to sit out under the stars, but it was quite dark out there and we were getting some spits of rain, so thought it would be safer to do it under cover with a bit of light rather than none at all...
Pork Ribs, Salad and roasted potatoes for dinner.  It was so divine...

Another great evening catching up with such good friends, and reminiscing about the wonderful holiday we have shared.  Love these guys, feel so blessed to have these guys in our life...
