THE SOLAR GUYS ARRIVE TODAY...

Day 2 of work getting down around the house saw the guys from Instyle Solar arrive to install Solar Panels on our roof.  The process of getting the house ready to move down to is well and truly on the road to completion...

Inspecting the roof and getting the brackets ready for the panels

We were pretty impressed with Instyle Solar.  Steve rang and got four quotes from different companies.  Our girls suggested we contact Instyle as they had installed their systems.  I have to admit, they were by far the most thorough in regards to getting back to us, researching panels for us,  price wise and even offering us a sizeable discount if we allowed them to advertise on our front fence that they had installed them at our place...

Their salesman kept in constant contact with us,  even going to great lengths to source the particular solar panels that Steve wanted for our roof and then contacting us again once they were installed to make sure we were more than happy with the install.  Whilst the other companies sent us quotes, only one ever bothered to re contact us re their quote.

Sarah and Chloe also received a $300 bonus for recommending them to us, so in the end we were very happy that we chose them to install our system..

Getting ready to install our new meter

They arrived early, before 8am, and we were informed half an hour before they arrived their whereabouts and what time to expect them.  Great service, and they arrived right on their estimated time of arrival.

Installing the GoodWii Invertor...
Almost ready to go

Whilst one tradie installed the Inverter, the other guy was up on the roof installing all the brackets for the solar panels.  He did well, only breaking a couple of tiles in the process.  Fortunately we had a little stack of spare ones, so he was able to fix the roof immediately.

Steve thoroughly enjoyed standing around watching the progress..

The panels are heading up onto the roof...

Almost done....

A few broken roof tiles..

And a birds nest or two came off the roof...

Second day or work complete,  one more lot of tradies to come in tomorrow to install the air conditioning and we are set for summer...
