CHRISTMAS POP UP STALL...

The girls have been very busy this year establishing a little side kick of candle making and selling them.  They really do hope to build it into a little business that might support their addiction to candles as well as provide a little extra cash or spending money...

They had organised to hold a Pop Up Stall to sell some of their candles for Christmas.  Sarah's good friend Tracey was happy to join them and hold the Pop Up Stall at her place and they set up to sell from 7am to 2pm.

It was very quite until around 9am (which suited us fine because it pretty much took us that amount of time to set up) and then people started arriving...

The girls have done a beautiful job with their candles.  They really are presented beautifully and the fragrances are just gorgeous... I love burning them myself...

Candles all set up ready for sale.

The girls all ready to sell...

The girls also have peg aprons for sale and managed to sell several.    I had made one for Sarah last year and she loves it as does her husband and other friends, so she thought they would also be good sellers.  So who gets commissioned to make them all.   Good old me....  a labour of love for my girls....

Lots of peg aprons for sale...

Their candles are beautifully presented for Christmas

Their Christmas range of Candles

Although the morning started slowly, from around 9.30am onwards they had a constant stream of customers arriving.  The girls did well as mostly people coming were by invite only.  Their candles really are lovely,  I myself love burning them.  I am their biggest fan.

My beautiful girls with their new Christmas ear rings...

Lots of scrunchies for sale also...

Each candle is decorated inside as well...

The Christmas Blackcurrant and Plum Candle is divine...

Love my girls

Sarah's friend Tracey also sold the most divine handmade ear rings as well.  We all shouted ourselves new ear rings for the day.  The girls were all so blessed, as I think everyone that came actually bought of both our girls and Tracey, so they were introduced to a different circle of people...

Tracey all set up with her ear rings..

I think that Tracey has an easier option with ear rings.  Less storage space at home and much easier to set up if going to markets etc.   The candles are quite bulky and weighty so there was a lot more work involved in setting up their area, but even with all the work to set up, it definitely was worth it as they have had a very profitable month.  Lots of people were shopping for Christmas gifts so obviously this is a good time to have plenty of stock available.  Next year they need to work on getting repeat business, like hair and beauty salons etc to help keep a cash flow throughout the year..
Love those ear rings Tracey

I love those pineapple ear rings and they have now been added to my collection

Sarah scored the white, Pink and silver ones..

Such cute ear rings..

She has lots of styles for younger folk as well

Got to love the french fries ear rings...

And lots of dainty little studs for very young children.

All in all it was a very profitable day, the girls were thrilled with the sales and the response they got from customers and it has just spurred them on to achieve even greater things...
