MY FIREBALL PLANT IS IN BLOOM...

 My fireball plant has excelled this year with this marvelous display of bloom.  Had to photograph it as a reminder of just how beautiful it really is.  

It only ever flowers once a year... dies off back to bulb and you swear you have lost the whole plant.  Then come spring the following year, the green shoots spring forth and gives us this most spectacular display once again...

Then within a couple of days, all the flowers were totally out....

Also decided to appreciate some of the other beautiful plants flowering in the garden also. 

Love that we have a red crucifix orchid as well as the orange one...

I love too that our "Mr Lincoln"rose is thriving even though it has been planted in sandy soil.
