AFTER THREE LONG YEARS.... THE COUNTDOWN IS ON...

It's been a long three years since we have seen our wonderful family on the other side of the world and the count down is now on for us to go visit and meet our news grandson...  He will be almost 18 months old by the time we get to see him....

Not long to go now...

Feeling very blessed though that Pete and Maria keep us updated with face time calls and lots of photos...

We are blessed that we get to chat with these little treasures on almost a daily basis and they definitely know who we are.  Using Pete or Maria will ring whilst they are having their breakfast... they don't mind chatting to us whilst they are eating... Once they finish eating and it is play time, they soon loose interested in talking to us...

Theodore chatting to us over breakfast

These times are precious with the boys

Theo has just started going to gymnastics..  He is really quite good on his feet and is enjoying the climbing and swinging and it's great that Pete and Maria show these photos with us...

They also learn other skills and Theo got to practice hitting a hockey ball.  Apparently he just loves going and we are looking forward to going with him and watching him when we get over there..

Maybe he is going to be another Latham hockey player

We are surprised at just how good Theo is with his gross motor skills.  The boys love being out doors and love the parks..

Poppy has also been telling Theo that he will teach him how to ride a two wheeler bike when we come over.  I don't think it will take him to long to learn how.  He is already a bit of a dare devil on his balance bike...

It is also good to see that Elliot is enjoying his books also.  He has a real fascination with turning the pages at the moment and Maria says he loves "The Wonky Donkey".  I need to make sure I take over the lastest book in the series "The Dinky Donkey" as I'm sure the boys will love it also...

I am trying not to get too excited about going... It seems that most plans that we have made in the last couple of years hasn't come to fruition so I will find it hard not to get too excited.  I think once we are on the plane, I will believe that we are going.  Still so much to do before we can go though...
