DAY 8 CARAVANING AT AGNES WATERS WITH THE BAPTIST TAB CARAVANING GROUP... 2022...

It was a little sad to farewell the cabin crew this morning, leaving only 7 couples in vans for the next few days.  For our outing today, we decided to go for a coffee at the other caravan park at Agnes Waters.  They have a wonderful coffee show on their gardens which leads right out onto the beach.

Last year when we had our five days at Agnes Waters, we actually stayed at this Caravan Park.  It's a really great park as it is right on the  beach, although a little hard to get into as it is often booked out a good year in advance,  I know when we stayed here the previous year, we could only book in for five nights as the weekends were booked out for over a year..

Our favourite past time... out eating again
Great company and great food...

We actually sat out on the side verandah where we could see the beach.  It place was nicely decorated.  After our morning tea, we all took off for some walks.  Some walked down onto the beach,  Geoff and Joy went to check our a great shade cloth on the side of someone's caravan and Ian, Kathy Steve and I went for a walk in the park next door...

Sone of the decorations on the walls at the Cafe...
Pretty awesome shade cloth on one of the vans...

A few of them went for a walk along the beach.  It is so handy and is also patrolled by life guards.  Even on a week day it was quite popular...

On the way back to the car we couldn't help but notice all the painted power poles around Agnes Water.

On our way home, we decided to stop off in Agnes itself to pick up a couple of postcards, so that we could write to our Grandies and share a little about the LARC and our venture up the beach on it.  We wanted to write them whilst in town so that we could post them before heading home...

Post cards to send to the Grandies
By the time we got back, the goannas were back visiting our campsite.  We hadn't seen them for a couple of days so it was nice to see them back visiting again...

Big goannas come to visit us...

We had a pretty chilled out afternoon back at the camp site.  A few of us had a nanny nap and then quite a few of us gathered back under the tarp to chat and play games.  Pretty low key for the rest of the day.  Ian and Kathy joined us for dinner that night.

The others were all heading to Bundy the following day to have morning tea and catch up with one of their past pastors.  Along with Ian and Kathy we decided to stay at Agnes.  We had some planning we needed to do for our overseas trip the following year...
